Jammu and Kashmir Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, there is Jammu and Kashmir board which is called as ‘JKBOSE‘ and ‘JKBOSE Senior.’ The JKBOSE stands for Board of Secondary Education, Jammu and Kashmir State whereas JKBOSE Senior stands for Board of Intermediate (12th Class) Education, Jammu, and Kashmir State. The Intermediate 12th Board has multiple streams like Arts, Science, Commerce, General, Vocational, and others. These two boards are the education boards of Jammu and Kashmir states. After qualifying for 10th which is the Secondary School Certificate for the 10th class, the candidates or the students prefer to join Intermediate, even some candidates or students prefer to join Diploma, ITI, and other courses.

Jammu and Kashmir Board 12th Exam Results 2024 – Regular and Supplementary:
The Jammu and Kashmir 12th examinations are conducted for all the students who have appeared for their subjects from different streams or branches like Arts, Science, Commerce, General, Vocational, etc. for Intermediate 11th class junior as well as Intermediate 12th class seniors. These exams are also conducted throughout the Jammu and Kashmir states. Students register for subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Maths, First Language, Second Language, and other languages. Their 12th percentage in certain subjects may improve (depending on the exam) their ranking in competitive exams like Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and NEET Examination.

The Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education were established through a legislation under the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education Act, 1975. The apex body is the governing board comprising the following members. Chairman, J & K State BOSE Commissioner/Secretary Education. Director of School Education (Jammu Division). Director of School Education (Kashmir Division). A representative of each of the two Universities of Jammu & Kashmir respectively is to be nominated by the concerned University Council. Four school teachers are to be nominated by the Government, of whom two shall be lady teachers concerned with Girls’ Education and two male teachers concerned with Boys’ Education. An eminent educationist connected with the administration, to be nominated by Government. A representative of one of the Teachers’ Training Institutions in the States, to be nominated by the Government, and; 2 persons nominated by the Government, one male, and one female officer from among Principals, Headmasters, and Headmistress of teaching institutions in the State.
